  • IDEA presents two posters at World Diabetes Congress at Montereal in October 2009. Dr. Sreejith N. Kumar presented the research work on 'Drug usage by patients in Diabetes care facility in South India' and 'Impact of World diabetes day commemoration'. Dr. Veena was the co-author.
  • DIABETES CARE MAGAZINE released on Novemeber 14th (World Diabetes Day) by Hon. Minister for Education Sri. M.A. Baby. 50page colour magazine with all information on Diabetes will be published in Malayalam once in three months.
  • Malayalam book on Diabetes PRAMEHAM SAMPOORNA VIGNANAM, authored by Dr. Sreejith N. Kumar and published by DC books released on World Diabetes day(November 14) by HH The Maharaja Uthradom Thirunal Marthanda Varma by handing over copy to Honb'le Health minister of Kerala Ms. Sreemathy teacher.
